Greetings Parents, Friends, and Venture Partners,

Over the past few weeks, our hearts have been full, and our vision has sharpened as we reflected on the energizing gathering we shared on Thursday, October 30th.  Thank you for the remarkable spirit in the gymnasium as we unveiled our plans for the new, state-of-the-art school building.  Your enthusiasm, commitment, and evident love for Venture Academy confirmed what we already knew: God is at work in and through our school in powerful ways.

The meeting represented more than an architectural preview or programming update.  It was a defining moment in the ongoing story of Venture’s mission to “Empower Christ-centered leaders, designers, and innovators for a world we can’t yet imagine.”

As we shared the site plan and renderings for the new building, I’m reminded that every studio (classroom), every innovation lab, every science lab, and every collaboration space is ultimately a platform for skill development, such as critical thinking, curiosity, problem solving, creativity, as well as discipleship.  This is not simply a construction project; it’s a strategic investment in this generation and the generations to follow.

The future facility has been intentionally designed to:

Elevate Academic Excellence
Flexible learning spaces, innovation labs, and dedicated spaces for the arts, sciences, fitness, and athletics will equip students to engage their world with rigorous intellect, character, and a deep faith.

Foster Community
Common areas, small group meeting spaces, a learning space for presentations and chapel, and numerous multi-use environments will all serve to strengthen our culture and connection among students, parents, and staff.

Position us for Long-Term Impact
This building is not just for today’s students. It’s a multi-generational investment—one that allows Venture to expand, innovate, and respond to emerging opportunities. The new building will initially serve grades 5-12, with grades K-4 remaining at our current campus.  Both sites will accommodate 600 students for the fall of 2027. With the gift of 50 acres from Jacob’s Well Church, Venture can ultimately expand to 1200 students.

Throughout the planning process, we have seen the evidence of God’s provision and guidance.  Doors have opened, partners have come alongside us, and a shared sense of calling continues to grow.  I’m grateful for the generosity of so many parents, grandparents, and friends of Venture.

At the same time, this vision will continue to require the unified efforts of our entire Venture community, which believes that a future-focused, innovative Christian education matters now more than ever.  I invite you to join us as we move from vision to reality:

Champion the Vision
Share the story of Venture Academy, reach out to Stephanie, Director of Admissions at [email protected], to pick up extra copies of our Viewbook to share with friends.  Your conversations, endorsement, and encouragement help build momentum and broaden our circle of support.

Partner as you are able
We will continue to outline ways to contribute—through giving, volunteering, and leveraging your networks and expertise.  Every gift and every act of support, regardless of size, is a meaningful part of this journey.

Praying Intentionally
Please hold this vital initiative up in prayer—for wisdom, unity, provision, and protection.

The world our students are stepping into is complex and rapidly changing.  Yet we are confident that Venture will serve as a launchpad—training young men and women who think deeply, lead courageously, serve generously, and stand firm in their faith…in every area of life.

In His Service,

Brian Sullivan
Head of School
