Entrepreneurship

Many believe that entrepreneurship is an inborn trait that can’t be taught. Venture Academy doesn’t believe this to be true. As with all skills, from mathematics to music, learning to be entrepreneurial builds upon any student’s natural ability to imagine. True entrepreneurship is the ability to imagine things that don’t exist, to address challenges by designing unique solutions, and finally, to scale the idea by igniting the imagination of others.

Using this simple framework, Venture will help all students understand the world around them and envision how it might be different. Students will experiment with creative solutions and hone their ability to reframe problems to develop unique ideas. Then, they’ll learn how to scale their ideas by inspiring others to support their effort, all through the lens of scripture.

Students at Venture Academy will discover the truth and spirit of biblical entrepreneurialism through the experience of operating businesses within the school, financial literacy coursework, ethics, internships, and service projects. These opportunities provide a real-world experience for students to develop the skills and character needed to redeem work, effectively lead, and create value within their communities and the lives of all those around them.
