Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures

The safety of all students and families is our highest priority! Please follow the procedures below when dropping off and picking up your student(s). Your cooperation is appreciated and necessary to ensure everyone’s safety.

General Drop-Off Information

  • Students are expected to be in their classrooms and ready to learn by the time school starts at 8:00 am. Parents should plan to have their student(s) at school no later than 7:55 am. 
  • All students should enter the building at Door #9, the school’s main entrance. 
  • Morning supervision begins at 7:30 am in the commons, and students can be dropped off starting at that time (see Before School Care section).

Drop-Off Lane

Drivers dropping off students should do so outside of Door #7. When entering the parking lot, please use the middle driveway (follow the arrows on the map) and stay to the right when the road splits. Pull your car forward as far as possible when you reach the drop-off area, allowing your students to exit onto the sidewalk. Please be aware of others behind you who are ready to be dropped off. We ask that parents have their student(s) ready to be dropped off. If they need extra time to get organized before exiting the vehicle, please continue along the drop-off lane and park in a designated stall. Once your child is ready, stay in your vehicle and circle back into the drop-off lane. No parking is permitted in the drop-off lane at any time. The purpose of this lane is to allow families to drop off students and continue to their next destination quickly.

Parking (To Enter Building)

If you choose to accompany your child into the building, please park in the stalls to the north of the building. When entering the parking lot, please take the first left and continue along the outer edge of the parking lot (follow the arrows on the map) until you reach the parking area. Walk with your student(s) and enter through the main entrance (Door #9). After you have returned to your vehicle, please use extreme caution while exiting the parking lot.

General Pick-Up Information

  • Students are released from school at 3:15 pm
  • No student will be released without a parent or designated guardian present (as listed in Veracross).
  • Students should enter their vehicle from the pick-up area so they are not walking between cars or in a driving lane. No student will be allowed to enter the parking lot on foot without a parent or guardian walking alongside at all times.

Student Pick-Up

All vehicles picking up students in grades K-2 should use the middle driveway when entering the parking lot (follow the arrows on the map) and stay to the right when the road splits. Pull your vehicle forward as far as possible when you reach the pick-up area. (outside Door #6) Once you are ready to leave, please exit the parking lot using the middle driveway again.

All vehicles picking up students in grades 3-6 (younger siblings included) should enter the parking lot, take the first left, and use the first lane (follow the arrows on the map) to approach the building. Pull your vehicle forward as far as possible when you reach the pick-up area. (outside Door #9) Once you are ready to leave, please exit the parking lot using the second lane.

Parking for Appointments

If you have an appointment with a Venture staff member, please enter the parking lot, take the first left, and continue along the outer edge of the parking lot (follow the arrows on the map) until you reach the parking area. Enter the building at the main entrance. (Door #9)
