Thank you for your ongoing interest, excitement, and prayer as God’s wonderful plan for Venture Academy unfolds. In this issue of our quarterly update, there are many developments and blessings to celebrate. We are so grateful to the Lord for His vision and continued provision for Venture Academy. We covet your prayers as we steward God’s school.

Each quarterly update demonstrates clear and measurable progress toward Venture’s opening in the fall of 2024. One word we are consistently hearing from various stakeholders is “momentum.” Yes, Venture Academy has been growing in momentum, and for that, we are so grateful!

50 Acres of Land Donated

We are humbled and excited to announce that Jacob’s Well has agreed to donate 50 acres of land in Lake Hallie to Venture Academy. This generous gift of land will be the foundation for the new master plan of the school. The Venture Academy School Design Team and School Board are committed to using this land responsibly and purposefully to build a school campus and green space that will bless students and the Chippewa Valley. Thank you, Jacob’s Well, for this impactful gift!

Birds Eye View of Master Plan

The Venture Academy School Design Team and School Board are continuing their partnership with ATS+R, the architects for the Venture Academy project. We are excited to show you the bird’s eye view of the 10-15 year Master Plan, which is situated on our new 50-acre parcel of land. The Master Plan includes a 165,000 sq ft building, athletic fields, ample parking, abundant outdoor learning space, and room for further expansion if needed.

High-Level Curriculum Update

The Venture Academy School Design Team has been working hard to curate an extensive list of researched-based curriculum options for all subject areas. We are choosing a curriculum that aligns with best practices in education, incorporating a mix of Christian and secular publishers. We are prioritizing Grades K-5 because those will launch in the fall of 2024. We encourage you to read through our Lower School Programming Model, which lays a foundation for curriculum choices, and more explicitly explains Venture’s philosophy behind each subject area. Additional curriculum resources will be shared later in 2023.
