Sandra Peterson

1st Grade Teacher

Sandra Peterson brings 12 years of teaching experience and a 1316 reading certification to her role as a 1st Grade Teacher. With a background in teaching math intervention, Sandra is dedicated to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Beyond the classroom, Sandra is involved in her community. She has served as the Food Pantry director in Fall Creek, demonstrating her commitment to helping others. Sandra also plays an active role in her family’s church. She has taught Sunday School and assisted in the nursery. She currently maintains the church’s social media pages and hosts a couples’ small group Bible study in her home.

As a mother of two girls and a boy, Sandra values family time, especially camping trips and tending to their hobby farm. They raise chickens and ducks and maintain a vibrant garden. In her free time, Sandra enjoys exercising, reading, and interior decorating. Her superpower? Making chocolate disappear! Sandra’s warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication to both her students and community make her a valued educator on the Venture Academy team.
