Lower School Principal

Matt Marusak brings a decade of educational experience to his role as our Lower School Principal. An honors graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Matt’s background includes expertise in behavior management, instructional technology, and working with primary-grade students from diverse backgrounds. His passion for student growth extends beyond the classroom, as he encourages the development and sportsmanship of student-athletes as a coach and WIAA official.

Originally from Boyceville, WI, Matt moved to Eau Claire with his wife after college. They have since made the Chippewa Valley their home as they raise their two young sons. He finds joy in spending time outdoors with his family, experiencing the world through his children’s eyes. An avid outdoorsman, Matt enjoys fishing, hunting, and participating in sports with friends.

Matt and his family have attended Jacob’s Well since 2015. His sense of humor and approachable nature are complemented by his unique superpower: walking on his hands!
