Carlie Mead is an enthusiastic 5th Grade Teacher with a passion for engaging education. With two years of teaching experience, she has led STEM education summer camps, fostering creativity and innovation in her students. Proficient in Chinese, Carlie’s cultural fluency extends from her travels to China and leadership in running Chinese clubs.

Trained in project-based classrooms, Carlie creates dynamic learning environments that encourage exploration and discovery. Outside of teaching, she volunteers at Beaver Creek Reserve, sharing her love for nature through summer camps. Carlie also enjoys playing handbells and spending time outdoors.

Growing up in Eau Claire as a twin and with three sisters, Carlie values family and community. Her unique superpower is speaking to animals. Carlie’s warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication make her an important member of the Venture Academy team.
