2nd Grade Teacher

Bridget Smylie is our 2nd Grade Teacher with 13 years of teaching experience. She has been a dedicated parent volunteer in her children’s school since 2018. Bridget has attended Jacob’s Well since 2008 and has volunteered in the Kids area for seven years.

Bridget and her husband met as high school sweethearts in Marshfield, moved to Eau Claire, and have stayed in the area since college. They are raising three children and enjoy family activities such as playing board and card games, bicycling, being outdoors, fishing, and having campfires in the backyard.

Last year, Bridget served as Vice Coordinator for American Heritage Girls and continues to be involved with her daughters in the organization. She enjoys cooking, dancing, exercising, and planning activities. Bridget’s superpower is telling detailed stories with her hands. She is a cherished member of our Venture Academy community.
