Construction is underway, and each milestone brings us one step closer to opening the doors of Venture Academy’s future home. This page will be updated regularly with photos, drone footage, construction milestones, and project updates so families, supporters, and community members can follow the journey from groundbreaking to completion. May 22, 2026: Site Mobilization Begins

Construction officially got underway as crews mobilized on site. Temporary job trailers were installed, and tree clearing and chipping began to prepare the property for construction.

May 29, 2026: Groundbreaking & Site Clearing Progress

Tree clearing continued, stump removal began, and Venture Academy celebrated a successful groundbreaking ceremony, marking the official start of construction.

June 5, 2026: Preparing the Building Site

Site clearing reached the roadway, stump removal was completed, and fill material was brought in as crews continued preparing the property for construction.

June 12, 2026: Building Footprint Takes Shape

Septic system installation began while crews continued site preparation and established the building footprint for the future school.

June 19, 2026: Utilities & Mass Grading Progress

Major infrastructure work advanced with septic tanks installed, water service connected from the roadway, continued mass grading, and ongoing preparation of the building footprint.

July 2, 2026: Foundation Work Begins

Construction reached an exciting milestone as footing forms were built and the first concrete footings were poured. Mass grading continued, and the stormwater pond liner was installed.

July 10, 2026: First Foundation Wall Poured

The first foundation wall was completed while crews continued to pour footings, install the parking lot base course, and advance site grading. A live construction progress camera was also installed to document the project.

July 17, 2026: Underground Infrastructure Progress

Foundation work continued alongside underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation. Below-grade masonry advanced, mass grading continued, and the main drainage pond banks were seeded.

July 24, 2026: Foundations Continue to Rise

Construction crews continued foundation work by backfilling foundation walls, expanding underground utilities, and progressing on masonry for the north stairwell.

July 31, 2026: Foundations Continue

Construction reached another major milestone as crews completed the building foundations and finished masonry on the north stair shaft. Foundation walls continued to be backfilled while underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation progressed.

Years in the Making

When Venture Academy opened its doors in 2024, it did so with a vision that extended far beyond the walls of its first classrooms. From the beginning, the goal was to create a permanent campus where students could learn, grow, and discover their God-given purpose in a Christ-centered environment.

This new campus represents more than a construction project; it is the next step in a journey that began before our first students ever walked through the doors. We are thankful for everyone who has helped bring us to this moment and excited for the generations of students who will be impacted in the years ahead.
