Construction is underway, and each milestone brings us one step closer to opening the doors of Venture Academy’s future home. This page will be updated regularly with photos, drone footage, construction milestones, and project updates so families, supporters, and community members can follow the journey from groundbreaking to completion. October 9, 2026: Floor Slabs & Exterior Walls Progress
This week, crews poured some of the floor slabs and began framing the exterior office walls. Work also continued overhead with roof curbs installed and the air barrier underway, while crews prepared the gym floor for concrete next week.

October 2, 2026: Steel Details & Walls Continue to Take Shape
This week, crews continued steel work while completing the exterior wall framing. Preparation also began for the slab-on-grade, marking another step toward bringing the building structure together.
September 25, 2026: Steel, Framing & Stairs Take Shape
This week, crews continued framing and sheathing in Area A while setting steel. Crews also poured the stairway floors, marking continued progress across the new campus.
September 18, 2026: Steel Erection & Building Progress
This week, crews began erecting steel and started exterior wall framing. Electrical underground work also progressed with infrastructure for future exterior lighting.
September 11, 2026: Steel, Stairs & Site Progress
This week, crews poured the remaining sections of the Learning Stairs and continued setting steel in Area A and the gym. Electrical work also progressed with conduit for future light poles, while the footing for the monument sign was poured.
September 4, 2026: Another Week of Progress
This week, crews formed and poured the seating for the Learning Stairs and completed the concrete masonry units (CMU) at Stair A. Electrical underground work also continued as crews moved forward with the systems that will support the new campus.
August 28, 2026: Learning Spaces Take Shape
Construction continues as key features of the new campus begin to rise.
This week, crews poured the walls for the learning stairs and began installing concrete masonry units (CMU) at Stair A. Landscaping crews also continued seeding around the site as work moves forward on the future Venture campus.
August 21, 2026: Rising Into Place
The new campus continues to take shape above ground.
This week, crews completed masonry work in the gym and finished building headers as work continues throughout the new campus. Power was also routed into the building, while underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation continued.
August 14, 2026: Building Up
This week, crews began masonry work in the gym while continuing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) masonry rough-ins throughout the building. The foundation for the trash enclosure was also completed, and building headers began to take shape. With foundations complete, we’re starting to see more of the future campus rise above ground!
August 7, 2026: Foundations Finished
Construction continues to move forward as crews completed all building foundations and finished backfilling the foundation walls. Masonry work progressed at the elevator shaft, while mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) masonry rough-ins also continued throughout the building.
July 31, 2026: Foundations Continue
Construction reached another major milestone as crews completed the building foundations and finished masonry on the north stair shaft. Foundation walls continued to be backfilled while underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation progressed.
July 24, 2026: Foundations Continue to Rise
Construction crews continued foundation work by backfilling foundation walls, expanding underground utilities, and progressing on masonry for the north stairwell.
July 17, 2026: Underground Infrastructure Progress
Foundation work continued alongside underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation. Below-grade masonry advanced, mass grading continued, and the main drainage pond banks were seeded.
July 10, 2026: First Foundation Wall Poured
The first foundation wall was completed while crews continued to pour footings, install the parking lot base course, and advance site grading. A live construction progress camera was also installed to document the project.
July 2, 2026: Foundation Work Begins
Construction reached an exciting milestone as footing forms were built and the first concrete footings were poured. Mass grading continued, and the stormwater pond liner was installed.
June 19, 2026: Utilities & Mass Grading Progress
Major infrastructure work advanced with septic tanks installed, water service connected from the roadway, continued mass grading, and ongoing preparation of the building footprint.
June 12, 2026: Building Footprint Takes Shape
Septic system installation began while crews continued site preparation and established the building footprint for the future school.
June 5, 2026: Preparing the Building Site
Site clearing reached the roadway, stump removal was completed, and fill material was brought in as crews continued preparing the property for construction.
May 29, 2026: Groundbreaking & Site Clearing Progress
Tree clearing continued, stump removal began, and Venture Academy celebrated a successful groundbreaking ceremony, marking the official start of construction.
May 22, 2026: Site Mobilization Begins
Construction officially got underway as crews mobilized on site. Temporary job trailers were installed, and tree clearing and chipping began to prepare the property for construction.

When Venture Academy opened its doors in 2024, it did so with a vision that extended far beyond the walls of its first classrooms. From the beginning, the goal was to create a permanent campus where students could learn, grow, and discover their God-given purpose in a Christ-centered environment.
This new campus represents more than a construction project; it is the next step in a journey that began before our first students ever walked through the doors. We are thankful for everyone who has helped bring us to this moment and excited for the generations of students who will be impacted in the years ahead.
