Athletics

Athletics provides student-athletes with meaningful opportunities to grow in character, discipline, and teamwork through healthy competition. Venture Academy is working toward membership in the WIAA and will pursue conference placement as the program develops. We plan to offer a range of fall, winter, and spring sports at the intermediate level, building a program that reflects our mission to empower Christ-centered leaders, designers, and innovators. Through sportsmanship, spiritual growth, and collaboration, students learn to honor God, support one another, and fully engage in the school experience.

Venture Athletics for 2026-2027

Venture’s athletics program continues to grow, providing students with opportunities to develop teamwork, perseverance, and character through competition. Throughout the school year, students will have opportunities to participate in athletics through Venture programs and partnerships with other local schools.

Fall Athletics

Grades 5–8

Boys & Girls Cross Country
Girls Volleyball
Boys Soccer

Through these programs and partnerships with other local schools, Venture student-athletes have opportunities to compete, build relationships, and represent their school with Pioneer pride.

Winter Athletics

Growing Together

As Venture Academy continues to grow, so will our athletics program. We look forward to creating more opportunities for students to compete, build community, develop character, and represent Venture Academy throughout the year.

Registration & Requirements

Before your athlete can participate in Venture Athletics, families must complete the required health, safety, conduct, and registration requirements. Please review the information below and complete the appropriate items before and during the Sports Information Meeting.

1. Complete Before the Sports Information Meeting

Please complete the following items before attending the meeting:

Sports Physical: Complete the Sports Physical Form

Concussion & Cardiac Requirements: Read the Concussion/Cardiac Required Reading Packet

Both the parent/guardian and athlete must read the packet and sign their respective agreement:
- Parent/Guardian: Concussion/Cardiac Parent Agreement
- Athlete: Concussion/Cardiac Athlete Agreement

2. Complete at the Sports Information Meeting

The following requirements will be completed at the meeting:

Activities Handbook Code of Conduct — Parent Agreement
Activities Handbook Code of Conduct — Athlete Agreement
Sports Registration Fee

3. Sports Registration Fee

The registration fee for each Intermediate School sport is $200 per sport for the 2026–2027 school year.

First sport: $200
Second sport: $200
Third sport: $100 — 50% discount

The 50% discount applies to the third sport an athlete participates in during the same school year.

Payment Information

Venture Academy families: Sports registration fees will be charged through FACTS incidentals.
Non-Venture athletes: Payment must be made by check payable to Venture Academy.

Please make sure all required paperwork is completed and ready before your athlete begins participating in practices or competitions.
