Elise Geary

Art Teacher

Elise Geary is our Art Teacher, an artist with a passion for teaching and creativity. With two years of pre-service teaching experience, Elise will be graduating from UW-Stout and will be teaching in her own classroom for the first time this Fall. Elise is skilled in watercolor, charcoal, fine point sharpies, and graphite, showcasing her versatility across mediums.

Originally from West Bend, WI, Elise moved to our area for college, bringing her passion for art with her. Alongside her artistic pursuits, she enjoys reading, live music, camping, snowboarding, and studying art history. Her favorite artist is Claude Monet, and she is fascinated with his ‘Haystack Series’ which showcases haystacks in different seasons and times of day to study the way the light hits the same haystack. Her curiosity extends to learning French to explore the rich artistic heritage of France.

Outside of art, Elise volunteers at Ruby’s Pantry, and is working to get her artwork displayed in local businesses around Eau Claire. She cherishes spending time with her husband’s large family and with her friends on Monday nights for Bible studies. Elise’s superpower? Whistling!
