Educational Philosophy

Venture Academy prepares students to thrive in a rapidly changing world while empowering them to live full, virtuous lives. Our school celebrates God’s purposeful design of each student, guiding them to master the critical skills they need to live their calling in the real world. Venture teachers curate inquiry in the classroom, which naturally leads students to unleash their creativity. From that foundation, Venture’s exceptional academic journey equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Survey Results

The survey results are complete from the Capital Campaign Feasibility Study at the end of 2022. A total of 328 households were surveyed, and 38 individual stakeholder interviews were held to compile the information. That’s over 350 households in the Chippewa Valley providing Venture feedback, insights, and counsel. Here are some of the high-level findings:

– Over 85% of survey respondents supported establishing a new Christian school in the Chippewa Valley.

– 90% of the survey respondents agree that the Chippewa Valley needs a school that prepares students for today’s complex, rapidly changing world and who are equipped and empowered to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

– STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) was ranked first among respondents in terms of programming that Venture will offer, with Career Development and Tech followed closely by Field Experience and Internships.

– Over 63% of the respondents felt that Venture Academy should embark on a capital campaign, with a further 26% of the respondents indicating support with more information.

They represent a diverse cross-section of stakeholders who will partner with Venture’s mission and new campus with their prayers, philanthropy, leadership, and influence. Educator Focus Group

An Educator Focus Group of teachers from the Chippewa Valley has been formed and had their first meeting in February with some members of the Venture Academy Design Team. This group is comprised of educators from elementary, middle school, and high school, representing Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, and Altoona school districts with varied levels of teaching experience. The members of the Educator Focus Group will be champions of the mission of Venture Academy in the community, have committed to being prayer partners, and will be providing feedback and direction on key academic decisions. We are grateful for their support!
