Construction Begins
The week of January 20th marked the official start of the Jacob’s Well children’s wing renovations. This physical transformation is an important step as we gear up for the launch of our K-6 Lower School this fall. The first phase of renovations will be a dynamic makeover, starting with the demolition of select walls in the existing Jacob’s Well preschool hallway
Anticipate a modernized all-glass flex/learning space adjacent to the hallway entrance. Four cutting-edge, moveable walls will help define four of the six new classrooms being custom-tailored for our upcoming Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grades.
Crews have also begun renovating the lower school music room, administrative offices, staff work room, and admissions office. Get ready for integrated custom lockers, innovative lighting, a vibrant color scheme, and a host of other enhancements. All these exciting changes are set to unfold in the first phase of renovations, promising a completely revitalized learning environment in this first hallway over the next 2-3 months.
Mark Reams, our Director of Finance & Operations, shared this week: “We’re excited to start swinging hammers on this project finally! I believe so much in the vision of Venture and the impact we will make for our community. This week, we got to see some of our physical plans for the new school start to take shape, and that’s a huge blessing. We’re so grateful for everyone who has come together and supported us to make all this possible, and we can’t wait to share all the progress as building continues.”
